Sustainability
Wagstaff is committed to sustainability. We understand the importance to you, the customer, of minimising your impact on the environment. To assist you in this we have created a range of the most sustainable products on the market.
At every stage of Wagstaff’s design, procurement, manufacturing, delivery and installation process we prioritise sustainability. We aim to deliver value for money to our clients without compromising the three pillars of sustainability: environmental, social and economic. For example, we:
-
Source all of our products and materials locally.
-
Use local suppliers and subcontractors for to each individual project.
-
Use FSC certified timber from Egger, who use a local sustainable forest at Kielder in Northumberland.
-
Hold full chain of custody for all of our products and materials.
-
Provide training for all employees and subcontractors on environmental and sustainability issues.
-
Procure and use sustainable materials wherever possible. For example, instead of using chrome we use an environmentally friendly alternative chrome finish.
-
Reduce the production of pollutants to water, land and air
-
Vet all of our suppliers to ensure they are ISO 14001 certified and are up to our sustainable standards.
-
Recycle and reuse products through our partnerships with Waste to Wonder
